Kanye West has apologised for being "in any way confusing" with his recent tweets.
The 38-year-old rapper has been hitting headlines over the past few months due to his tirades on the social networking sites, which have seen him take aim at Wiz Khalifa, Mark Zuckerberg and producer Bob Ezrin among others.
In a "stream of consciousness" posted on Twitter.com in the early hours of Wednesday morning (09Mar16), Kanye told his followers that he hadn't intended to cause any confusion with his messages.
"It's been a lot of confusion in the past 3 weeks so let me apologise for in any way being confusing..." he wrote. "I guess in a media world where you never hear the truth, the truth can come off as crazy..."
Kanye is currently in Sweden, where he met with Ikea representatives at their headquarters on Tuesday (08Mar16). His admiration for the Swedish superstore was just one thing evident from his rambling posts on Twitter, which he told fans were going to be "twitter poetry" and warned them: "The ideas will jump around a bit… a bit like a mood board..."
He continued: "Up late designing in Sweden… Super inspired by my visit to Ikea today , really amazing company… my mind is racing with the possibilities…"
As well as his musical offerings, Kanye has had huge success creating a line of sneakers with adidas entitled Yeezy Boost. The footwear has been worn by celebrities worldwide, and Kanye promised fans of the shoes that he had a lot planned for the next year.
"Sitting with @Robinnowicki from @ustwo working on the YEEZY site…" he wrote. "Really happy to get the quality of the products better at half the prices of last year… bear with me guys, Rome wasn't built in a day but I promise to keep my promises…
"@Adidas is making a million Yeezys this year, opening up new factories…"
Kanye has also seen his life change after marrying Kim Kardashian, with whom he has children Saint, three months and North, two. His busy schedule means he is often away from his family, and he added he was looking forward to getting back to his wife and brood.
"Can't wait to get home to North, Saint and my wife…" he tweeted.
