Kanye West has praised the name and artwork for his new album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’.
The record, released on November 22, was originally titled ‘Good Ass Job’, and was intended to be a follow-up to the rapper’s first three albums.
But West said he dropped the original title because he wanted a fresh start.
"My Beautiful Dark Fantasy and my album cover are just ... those things are just awesome,” he told MTV News. “It's really proper, decadent, soulful lavishness, and it's exactly what I wanna say."
West also admitted that his new project had a “f*ck off” attitude because it didn’t bow to any preconceptions.
“This is what I want to give you,” he added. “This is the moment, this is what I created and take it or leave it.”
‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ is West’s fifth studio album and follow-up to 2008’s ‘808s And Heartbreak’.
Meanwhile, West's new film, Runaway, is due to premiere tomorrow (October 23).
