Overview
Kanye West is dealing with legal issues after he allegedly scuffled with photographers who were surrounding him at LAX.
West, the new father of North, reportedly wound up going after one cameraman.
Police were notified and now the snapper hired the top settle out of court legal specialist, Gloria Allred.
TMZ reports that Kanye has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft for grabbing at the camera from snapper Daniel Ramos, who also claims West punched him during the incident.
City attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan told reporters that West will be arraigned on Oct. 10, but he is not required to appear if he has an attorney.
Prosecutors declined to file felony charges against West. Instead the star faces misdemeanor charges, each of which carries a penalty of up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine.
