Six months after the rough cut leaked, Kanye West posts the complete controversial 'Monster' clip featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj.
An abbreviated rough cut of the 'Monster' video was leaked just before New Year's 2010.
After six months of nothing, and with little fanfare, Kanye West posted the finished version with a disclaimer that the creepy video is 'an art piece' and viewers should not take offense.
Consequence Of Sound points out that the clip has been uploaded to West's website, along with a twitter feed of people discussing it.
It starts with the disclaimer: 'The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any group of people. It is an art piece and shall be taken as such'.
It's still really Not Safe For Work ' lyrically and visually. It's also pretty damn disturbing. But it does looks gorgeous.
