Kanye West 'set for secret show'

Kanye West is rumoured to be playing a secret show for the multi-millionaire art set in Switzerland.

The country famously plays host to the Art Basel fair, which is taking place over several days this month. It's rumoured that this time around there will be $2 billion worth of pictures on display, with stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio flocking to the event to pick up a one-of-a-kind piece.

Kanye has been promoting his upcoming seventh studio album Yeezus recently and is expecting to perform a show at the upmarket fair.

According to New York Post the concert will take place at the Herzog & de Meuron exhibition hall. The star is expected to play his controversial new tracks Black Skinhead and New Slaves, which have an industrial feel.

Yesterday, Kanye was accused of cheating on his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian with a busty model. He released a statement via his representative in which he strenuously denied the claims and shortly afterwards he jetted from America to Switzerland.

The hip-hop star's representative called model Leyla Ghobadi's story a "blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity" yesterday. She told American magazine Star that Kanye had slept with her on two occasions, but it has now been alleged she had no proof of the supposed trysts. She also didn't take a lie detector test and New York Daily News claims several other publications passed on the story.

The story emerged on the same day he gave a wide-reaching interview to The New York Times, in which he spoke of his love for Kim and his desire to protect her and their unborn daughter.

He also tried to explain how seriously he takes his job, likening himself to the late co-founder of Apple Steve Jobs.

"I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means.

"I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know — it's like when Biggie [Smalls, rapper] passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z," he said.

"I've been connected to the most culturally important albums of the past four years, the most influential artists of the past ten years. You have like, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes... I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus."
