The actress already has seven-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson and believes she is set to welcome a daughter into the world later this year. Kate also revealed she and her rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy have been considering baby names, but they want to keep their favourites ones a secret.
Although she is enjoying the pregnancy so far, Kate is growing increasingly frustrated with all the so-called helpful advice she has been given.
“We have a couple of names but we’re not telling anyone. People tell you so much [about being pregnant] it drives me nuts,” she said in an interview for British television series The Graham Norton Show. “It feels like a girl, but I don’t know. Ryder thinks it’s a girl.”
Earlier this week it was claimed the 31-year-old star had secretly got engaged to Matt. However, Kate has denied the marriage rumours and insists she is in no rush to tie the knot again anytime soon. She is happy with the current status of her relationship with the Muse rocker and doesn’t need to get married to prove her commitment.
“No, no, not that I know of!” she laughed when asked if she is engaged. “I don’t like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don’t feel it necessary to get married. I am 31 I already have one child and have had one divorce so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.”
Kate and Matt have been dating for around nine months after they met at a music festival in California last year.
