Kate Hudson reportedly thinks another baby is "just what the doctor ordered".
The 35-year-old actress has been engaged to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy since 2011 and they have three-year-old son Bingham together. Earlier this year they furiously denied rumours there were problems in their relationship, and it's now been claimed they are actually ready to add to their brood.
"They've always said they would get married, but something is missing that neither one of them can put a finger on. It really looked like it was over earlier this year, but now Kate believes a baby is just what the doctor ordered," an insider told the American edition of OK! magazine. "They think another bundle of joy will bring a new light into their relationship and make everything a lot more clear."
Kate is also mom to ten-year-old son Ryder, who she has with her ex-husband Chris Robinson. Her failed marriage is said to be one of the reasons Kate is hesitant about tying the knot again, although she's insisted she and Matt haven't married yet as they don't feel the need. In a recent interview she suggested they feel like they have exchanged vows anyway, so if they do so for real it will likely be more for the kids.
"Kate has wanted to marry Matthew for a while, and the last thing she wants is to get divorced again," the source said.
"Having another child will seal the deal on their union before making that commitment. It will make their little family complete."
The actress is happy to discuss her relationship in interviews, previously saying timing is what has held up her wedding to Matt. On several occasions she's hinted that Ryder wants her to walk down the aisle, with the boy already choosing his outfit.
"He apparently wants to wear a neon green tux - I'm all for it," she laughed to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres last year. "He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That's pretty cool, he's a bit of a fashion boy."
