Kate Hudson plans low key birthday with family

Kate Hudson just wants to 'hang with her family' for her birthday.

The 'Reluctant Fundamentalist' actress celebrates her 34th birthday today (19.04.13) and wants to have a low-key celebration with her Muse rocker fiancé Matt Bellamy and sons Ryder, nine, and 19-month-old Bing.

The star, who was celebrating a day early with Hollywood pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Sarah Jessica Parker at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball in New York City on Thursday night (18.04.13), told Us Weekly magazine: 'I think I might have a dinner at some point this week. I just want to hang with my family.'

The blonde beauty is looking forward to being spoiled by her boys and says Ryder - her first son with ex-husband Chris Robinson - makes her 'adorable' hand crafted gifts and jewellery for special occasions.

She gushed: 'Ryder makes things, so he's made me this beautiful tree out of sticks and he took shells and painted them and made them the leaves of the tree. He's quite an artist, so he made and painted butterflies and gave them to me.

'And he likes to make me jewellery. He's made me some bracelets that are just adorable!'

The 'Bride Wars' star also reveals that her youngest son Bing hasn't fallen far from the tree and enjoys music just like his chart-topping dad.

She added: 'Bing right now is just completely obsessed with drumming. He's just a drummer. It's pretty wild to watch. It's all he wants to do.'
