Kate Nash will open the Glastonbury Festival this year, it has been announced.
The Harrow based pop newcomer, who claimed a Brit for Best British Female last night, will be the first act on-stage at the summer event.
She will take to the main Pyramid stage on Friday, June 27, preceding the three headliners Kings Of Leon, The Verve and Jay-Z.
Meanwhile, Nash embarks on a UK tour of her own later this month, with a show in Belfast. The tour concludes at Hammersmith Apollo on March 10.
"Merry Happy", her new single, is due for release on March 24.
