Kate Nash to join Snow Patrol & Keane in aid of Mencap

Kate Nash will join Snow Patrol, Keane and The Enemy for the Little Noise Sessions, a series of eight acoustic gigs in aid of UK learning disability charity Mencap.

The series of gigs will take place from 21 November to 28 November 2007 at Islington's Union Chapel, which has an intimate capacity of 600. Kate Nash will headline on Monday 26 November.

Radio and television presenter, Jo Whiley, has joined forces with Mencap for a second year of Little Noise Sessions, following the success of last year's gigs which included performances from Noel Gallagher, Amy Winehouse, The Kooks and Lily Allen.

Those wanting tickets must register online at www.mencapmusic.org.uk. Ticket registration closes at 12.00pm Friday 19 October. Those who have registered can then buy tickets online on a first-come-first-served basis from 9.00am Monday 22 October. Tickets are £35 each.

Jo Whiley, the curator of Little Noise Sessions, said: "Mencap's Little Noise Sessions are a great opportunity to see big name bands play an acoustic gig in an intimate setting, whilst raising money for a really worthwhile cause."
