KATY PERRY has asked Calvin Harris to co-write a track with her for her next album.
The I Kissed A Girl star said she has been desperate to work with the Scottish musician after hearing his hit track The Girls two years ago.
Perry and Harris met at the Capital Summertime Ball in London earlier this month and started the ball rolling for their duet.
Harris said: "Katy and I finally met last week at the Capital Summertime Ball. We're gonna record our track in L.A. in December. It'll be for her next album so we'll be writing it together.
"It would be a shame to go all the way to L.A. and not meet up with her. It's a long way - we might go out and get on the... milkshakes."
