Kelly Clarkson "can't wait" to find new singing talent for an upcoming TV show.
The songstress is joining Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Nettles to search for musical flair on the new series Duets.
The ABC show – which is set to premiere this summer – has a different format to most singing competitions. Instead of a set judging panel, the four superstars will scour America to find two aspiring musicians to be their duet partners.
Kelly – who found fame after winning the inaugural season of American Idol - is thrilled to be part of the exciting show.
"The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of," she said in a press release from ABC, according to People.
The show will air each week where the celebrity singer and one of their contestants will perform in front of a live studio audience.
The overall winner of the series will get a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
