Kelly Clarkson has formally introduced her newborn daughter to the world.
The 32-year-old pop star gave birth to River Rose June 12 and fans have now received their first glimpse of the baby.
Kelly posted a photo on Twitter Friday of her little girl resting in a red pram, gushing about what a delight the infant is.
"Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet :)," the Catch My Breath singer wrote in the image caption.
Kelly married husband Brandon Blackstock last October and River Rose is their first child together.
Apparently the songstress is elated with parenthood and has experienced a great amount of joy since becoming a mother.
"Right now she's just relishing in her daughter and everything that motherhood has to offer," a source told Radar Online recently.
Kelly is stepmother to Brandon's two children, Seth, seven, and Savannah, 11, from his previous marriage with Melissa Ashworth White.
She openly admitted her role as stepmom convinced her she too wanted a family.
"I honestly never ever used to want to want kids because I'm kind of selfish with my career, but going to soccer games with Seth and doing homework with Savannah -- I just really love it y'all," she previously told radio host Sean Valentine on his show Valentine In The Morning.
"It's so cool. It sounds so cheesy but it's such a bigger point to life. I really lucked out with the whole kid situation. They're amazing."
