Kelly Clarkson is reportedly keen to expand her family.
In June the 32-year-old singer welcomed her daughter River Rose with her husband Brandon Blackstock, who she tied the knot with in October 2013. She is also stepmother to her spouse's son and daughter from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth White.
Kelly is said to be embracing all motherhood has to offer and is looking forward to having more children with Brandon in the future.
"Kelly is eager to return to the stage, but her focus is one million per cent on her family right now," an insider told RadarOnline.com.
"And don't expect River to be their only baby; Kelly and Brandon want a big family."
Last year Kelly released a Christmas record called Wrapped in Red, and in January she revealed she had started preparing songs for a new album, hinting it may be released by the end of 2014.
But it seems her pregnancy may have delayed things, and the blonde musician is reportedly enthusiastic about getting back into the spotlight with new material.
"Kelly is loving every single moment of motherhood," the source added.
"Being a mother is something Kelly has always wanted, so this is truly a dream come true for her. But it doesn't take away from the fact that she's a singer and an entertainer and misses it."
Kelly made her first post-baby appearance to take part in the ALS ice-bucket charity challenge recently, which involves the participant having freezing ice-water poured over them. It was clear Kelly was anxious about being in front of the camera, but she took on the challenge whole-heartedly.
