The former Destiny's Child appears to snub Beyoncé's dad in an interview with Jet magazine.
Asked whether Knowles - her former manager - filled the 'daddy void' when her biological father was not around, she says: 'Well, I am so thankful I was able to have my mum and Tina [Knowles], as well as wonderful women in my life, so I'm happy about that.'
Rowland's comments come as the Knowles' divorce has been finalised. The couple were married for nearly 32 years.
Brought up by her single mother, Rowland was practically raised alongside Beyoncé and her sister Solange, and was often considered to be part of their family.
Earlier this year, she said that firing Mathew as her manager was 'like a funeral' and that she was so sad she 'stayed in the house for two days'.
However, the 30-year-old singer is very vocal about meeting up with her estranged biological father, Christopher Lovett, whom she hasn't seen in more than 20 years.
Rowland plans to reunite with Lovett over the Christmas holidays.
She says: 'I think every little girl wants to be a darling in her father's eyes, and I'm going to get the opportunity to meet my biological father, so we'll see what happens.
'That's all I can say because I'm going to meet someone I haven't seen in more than 20 years.
'In my heart I've forgiven him.'
