Kelly Rowland has signed up to replace Dannii Minogue on The X Factor judging panel, according to widespread tabloid reports.
The former Destiny's Child singer's appointment is expected to be formally announced in the coming days, but she has already been speaking about appearing on the show.
Rowland praised show supremo Simon Cowell, who is being replaced by Take That's Gary Barlow on the upcoming series.
"The X Factor is an amazing show. I love Simon because he’s so honest. Everything he says I agree with. I don’t know what kind of judge I’ll be," she is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
With Cheryl Cole confirmed to be following Cowell to appear on the judging panel of the US version of the show, there is another slot left to fill on the UK panel.
N-Dubz singer Tulisa Constavolos has been widely tipped to fill the role, with speculation suggesting she will be officially confirmed at the same time as Rowland.
Dannii Minogue quit The X Factor earlier this week after four years on the panel.
She cited commitments as part of the judging panel on Australia’s Got Talent, which is filmed throughout June and July, as the reason for her departure.
