It seems R&B singer/songwriter Keri Hilson is 0-for-2 -- as far as the internet is concerned -- in terms of the two singles she's dropped off her upcoming "No Boys Allowed" album so far. In response, Hilson sat down with gossip blogger Perez Hilton to defend her music, specifically her latest track, "The Way You Love Me."
Keri Hilson defends "The Way You Love Me" song/video
I have to say, when I first saw Hilson's "The Way You Love Me" video, it just seemed like Hilson was trying a bit hard to me. But, part of me could appreciate that she does what she wants and that she's confident enough to do it. Then I watched the above interview she did with Perez Hilton, and it made me respect her even more. She stood her ground and made no excuses for her words or her visuals, and I can dig that.
