Kim Kardashian and Lil' Kim do their own carpool karaoke

Kim Kardashian and her friend Lil' Kim have taken part in their own version of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke.

The two Kims were enjoying a night out with their friend Tracy Nguyen, when they burst out in an impromptu singalong.

Wearing matching nude outfits, the stars are seen bopping their heads as they bust out a few rhymes for the camera in the footage posted on Lil' Kim's Instagram page.

"Part 1 carpool karaoke ride with us!! #carpoolkaraoke #LilKimSeason" the rap star, known by fans as The Queen Bee captioned the post (31Mar16).

The star later captioned her second post of the night: "Part 2 I love my @tracyhnguyen SO much!! She's always with the s**ts & one of the flyest females I know!! Look at her rockin to her favorite song Benjamins in the back #LilKimSeason"

Lil' Kim released her new mix tape Lil Kim Season, her first release in two years. It features throwback tracks including Mine, featuring Kevin Gates as well as new song I Did It For Brooklyn with Maino.

The 41 year old revealed she stepped away from the music business to concentrate on raising a family. "For a long time, my focus was my baby," she told Billboard.com following her latest release This month (Mar16).

Kim's husband Kanye West introduced the pair in 2006 at one of his parties. And it seems their relationship has remained strong ever since. They have been seen at various events together over the years including Kanye's West's Yeezy Season 3 fashion show earlier this year (Feb16).
