Overview
The 42-year-old star will be playing the role of Darlene in the pilot of the new show, which focuses on a high school mean girl called Amanda, played by Leslie Bibb.
She returns to her home town of Dallas after her marriage breaks down to try and make it up to those who she bullied when she was younger, according to TVGuide.com.
Chenoweth's character Darlene will play an ugly high schooler who Amanda tormented when they were at school.
But she's now a stunner and doesn't believe Amanda's claims that she's changed.
The show will also star Jennifer Aspen, Miriam Shor, Marisol Nichols and Annie Potts.
