Lady Gaga has fuelled rumours she's recording music with Adele.
Towards the end of last year it was reported the two megastars are working on a duet, which had fans in a frenzy.
The media storm died down when neither confirmed the gossip, but now the 28-year-old US star has stirred things up again with a picture on Instagram. In the snap, Gaga looks super glam with full make-up while Adele is barefaced and smiling broadly.
"Nothing like a Wednesday night bro-down with the beautiful Adele. (sic)," she captioned the shot.
Sure enough, her followers were quick to get excited, with many calling the two women "queens" and dubbing the situation "too good to be true".
British newspaper The Daily Star was the first to break the news in November last year.
"Adele and Lady Gaga have become random friends and often speak on the phone. Adele's a massive fan of Lady Gaga's voice and thinks she's underrated as an actual singer-songwriter. The plan is to get in the studio together in LA in the New Year," an insider revealed.
"Adele has started work on a song she thinks would make a perfect piano-led duet. It's early days and there's no guarantee it will make the album. Adele will only release it if it's brilliant and does them both justice but it certainly has the potential to be a classic."
The pair must be serious about hanging out together, as finding a break in their hectic schedules is likely difficult. Gaga has been busy making and performing jazz tracks with Tony Bennett, while Adele is rumoured to be the favourite for the next James Bond movie theme tune. She was behind the song featured in the 2012 Bond movie Skyfall.
