Some fans of the Marry The Night have become competitive and made a number of jokes aimed at Adele's look.
According to British newspaper the Daily Mail, one of the most popular put-downs is: 'Confirmed: Gaga will not be wearing her meat dress because she is afraid Adele will eat it.'
Mock-up videos of the Someone Like You hitmaker have made been with a fake singer performing: 'I'm bootyful in my own way because Arby's [an American restaurant] makes nooo mistakes, I've got the right order, baby, I was born this weight.'
Gaga's record label have condemned the attacks, saying: 'Lady Gaga does not approve of bullying anyone for their physical appearance, it goes against everything she stands for. A tiny handful of fans may be letting her down.'
