British PM David Cameron claims to be a fan of Lana Del Rey and Band Of Horses, and says his kids have awful taste.
Cameron spoke to the Daily Telegraph about many topics, but as an epigraph he was asked about his personal life.
After listing what he was watching (Danish detective series The Killing), reading (a history of the Conservative party by Robin Harris), and playing (Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja), he revealed what he was listening to.
They wrote that he was a "keen fan" of pop music, with Americana act Band of Horses and hyped singer Lana Del Rey being a couple of his current favourites
He also said that Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are "beginning to infect my iPod", only because they are the "appalling" choices of his children kids.
The Conservative leader has a track record of praising music on the cooler side of the spectrum, previously claiming to be a big fan of Morrissey and The Smiths during the election campaign last year.
This lead to Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr tweeting "Stop saying that you like The Smiths, no you don't. I forbid you to like it" and Morrissey pointing out "David Cameron is a hunter and he kills stag, and so forth, and that's everything The Smiths were against."
