Lana Del Rey's record boss has denied claims that the singer is manufactured by Polydor Records.
President of Polydor Records UK Ferdy Unger-Hamilton said hat he did not sign the singer up when he first met her
Unger-Hamilton told Q magazine: "Lana knows what she wants like few artists I've ever met.
"She likes to control every aspect of her career. Often we come across someone who is really good at writing songs or singing them, but Lana is that rare thing - someone who can do it all."
Her forthcoming debut album 'Born To Die', is set for release January 30 in the UK and June 31 in the US.
Lana Del Rey recently unveiled the video for her latest single 'Born To Die'.
The video, which features two tigers, sees the singer standing topless in the arms of a tattooed model with the American flag as a backdrop.
