Lana Del Rey has recruited an unlikely guest for the video to her new single 'Born To Die'... a tiger.
The singer who achieved a shock number 9 hit with her first single 'Video Games' told The Sun that she spent a lot more than she did on her low-budget first vid to hire the animal.
Del Rey said:
"Tigers don't come cheap. It's a controversial video. You'll have to wait to see it but I got a generous budget. I wasn't allowed to be alone with the tiger at any time, for obvious reasons. It was a special experience."
Lana has also expressed her discontent with the very clip that made her famous.
"Had I known so many people were going to watch the video, I'd have put some more effort into it."
Adding: "I would have got my hair and make-up done and tried not to be so pouty, seeing as everyone talks about my face all the time."
Lana Del Rey played her first London show last week. You can read our Gigwise blog on the singer here.
