Lenny Kravitz uses a handset with his cell phone as he is totally scared of radiation affecting his head.
The 'Fly Away' singer is paranoid about the effect radiation waves could have on his brain and so uses a special handset which he attaches to his mobile handset when making calls.
He said: "It keeps the rays, or whatever you want to call them, off your head … You can't slip it into your pocket very easily but it's worth it."
Health-conscious Lenny has also revealed he doesn't get drunk because he likes to live an "organic" life.
In an interview on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Sydney's 2Day FM, he said: "I've never been drunk. I guess it comes down to what we call drunk. I just get nice. I'm all about nature and letting things be organic."
Clean living Lenny – who will release his ninth studio album, 'Black and White America', later this month – recently sold his house in New York City, and has now made Paris his permanent home.
He revealed: "I have a house in Paris, when I want to have a city vibe I go to Paris which is beautiful, I'm very much into architecture and design and art so it's a great place to be."
