Lenny Kravitz wrote his iconic debut 'Let Love Rule' 20 years ago which included the signature line "It's time to take a stand, Brothers and Sisters join hands…" Lenny feels this statement is still relevant to this day and is harnessing this message of hope, taking it on tour with him through Europe.
Today Lenny announces dates for his long-awaited UK tour. The six date UK performances will round off his hotly-anticipated 49 date European tour, 'LLR 20(09)', during which Lenny visits such countries as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and many more. He reaches our British shores on 24th June, when he opens his critically acclaimed show in Newcastle. Other dates include Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Manchester and Southampton and the tour winds up in London on 1st July at the 02 Brixton Academy.
The tour will also feature tracks from his current album, 'It's Time for a Love Revolution' while fans will be delighted with a set that includes hits from throughout his career including "Are You Going To Go My Way?," "Fly Away," "Again," It Ain't Over Til It's Over," "Dig In" and "I'll Be Waiting. The show promises to be a spectacular celebration of Lenny Kravitz's career.
On the 20th April 2009, Virgin/EMI will release an expanded 20th Anniversary Edition of Let Love Rule. The global release will include the digitally remastered original album, plus extensive extras. Track list details will soon be announced.
