‘Mind Your Head', produced by Dexplicit (Pow Forward), is his interpretation of a hybrid fusion of grime and rock. A cocktail of grime's rhythmic style with deep, blazing guitar riffs and a banging drum beat. Lethal's mad energy flow on the track creates a rush of urgency and a sense of uncontrollable excitement that will have youths around the country throwing their brrap! fingers in the air.
“This single has got a raw feel to it, reminds me of the same energy as Pow so it's a definite banger.†says Bizzle. “I felt like a rock star when I recorded this in the studio. Yeah, it's my favourite track off the album.â€
Released as a limited edition 7†with an exclusive live mix courtesy of Test Icicles (RIP). “The Test Icicles did their thing on the track,†adds Lethal. “Working with them was heavy.â€
Lethal also recently featured on a Statik remix of The Rakes' '22 Grand Job' which has been getting rave reviews and he's just completed a UK headline Club NME tour travelling up and down the country performing.
This year Lethal has a few more projects up his sleeve set to create a lot of noise including; getting back in the studio to work on his 2nd solo album; the release of the Fire Camp album on his own label ‘Lethal Bizzle Records'; and pushing his album in Europe.
He also currently has his own 10-part TV series on Channel U called ‘Da Bizzle' show- which is a behind the scenes look into the underground music scene from Lethal's perspective.
Lethal is one of the main pioneers of the UK grime scene- back in 2002 he had a # 7 hit with More Fire Crew's ‘Oi'. In 2004 Pow! (Forward) earned him a # 11 chart position after being released in the tough Xmas market on December 20th this track featured 10 of East London's hottest MCs. Lethal's vision was to get the scene moving ‘forward' and united crews like Roll Deep, More Fire, Boundary, East Connection and Nasty for the first time.
Mind Your Head is released on March 27th on Lethal Bizzle Records/ V2
