Liam Payne has confirmed One Direction are not "clashing".
The 20-year-old singer makes up one fifth of the band alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
Recently rumours circulated that the boys weren't agreeing on the style of music they are making.
However, Liam has now quashed this hearsay with an emotive tweet.
"Lots of articles saying we are clashing ... no ones clashing we are just having a bit of Family time after hitting the road for 3 years (sic)," he assured his followers.
There has been speculation for some time that 19-year-old heartthrob of the band Harry, is keen to branch out on his own.
Apparently the curly-haired star is looking for a more rock 'n' roll direction.
"Harry loves being in the band and respects and loves his bandmates," an insider told The Daily Star. "But he's very ambitious and thinks they should be growing up more and becoming more credible.
"Their third album Midnight Memories was already a lot less pop but Harry wants to push it further. He thinks their next album is the perfect time to create a much edgier and more rock 'n' roll image and he's already writing songs that he wants them to include on the record.
"The problem is the rest of the band fear if Harry starts changing their style he's going to take over the whole thing."
Midnight Memories has gone down well with fans and One Direction are gearing up to start their Where We Are Tour in April.
It's set to kick off in Colombia and finish in Miami in October.
