Liam Payne thinks "everyone in the world" should listen to John Mayer.
The 19-year-old has made millions with his One Direction band mates Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
While the group's music has won them many fans, Liam also has talented idols he looks up to.
"Everyone in the world needs to get there heads together and listen to John Mayer paper doll ... One of my new found faves of all time (sic)," he told his Twitter followers.
Rapper Jay-Z recently released new album Magna Carta... Holy Grail, which has delighted critics and spawned hits such as Tom Ford.
Liam is a big fan of the track, which honours American designer Tom.
"I don't pop Molly I rock Tom ford international bring back the Concorde numbers don't lie check the score board Tom ford!!!!!" the star posted.
"Just a quick bit of jay z in the morning (sic)."
One Direction themselves are gearing up to release new single Best Song Ever, which is due out on July 22 but leaked online earlier this week.
The boys have been teasing clips from the accompanying promo, which sees Liam dress up as a camp choreographer, complete with legwarmers and shorts.
There's one particular accessory the singer warmed to.
"gutted I left that headband on settttt (sic)," he joked.
Today it was revealed Harry will play a geeky character in the video, while Niall was transformed into British businessman Lord Alan Sugar.
The alter egos of Zayn and Louis are currently unknown.
