Liam Payne has taken to Twitter to share an outpouring of emotions.
The One Direction hunk is well known for sharing his insights online, as well as posting messages to fans.
But in his most recent posts, 20-year-old Liam doesn't divulge who he's referring to in the cryptic messages.
"Can't be without you.
"No all I got left is the thought of you.
"Worse thing I ever did was let you go (sic)," Liam tweeted in quick succession to his 16.5million followers.
It was reported earlier this week that his girlfriend Sophia Smith was growing worried by Liam's increasingly distant personality. The pair have been an item for eight months, following the breakdown of his three-year relationship to Danielle Peazer.
Liam, along with bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan hit the road last week to embark on the start of their six-month Where We Are Tour.
"Sophia's worried that Liam's growing more distant from her. He sometimes struggles to cope with the fame. It's as if he's taking it out on her," a source told British magazine Heat.
Last week Liam was said to have worried Sophia further when he took to the micro blogging site in the early hours of the morning to complain that nobody really knew him.
"She wants to be the person who helps him through the good and bad times, but he keeps her at a distance. Then he posts cryptic tweets like 'nobody really knows me' at 4am.
"He seems to avoid the subject of their future together, and she's really anxious. If she quizzes him, he can get defensive. He has tried to reassure her by saying everything is fine, but she's told friends that she's not sure it will even last until the summer," the source added.
