After previously announcing he wouldn't be able to write any more letters after going into solitary confinement, Lil Wayne has surprised his fans with yet another letter from jail.
Posted today (Oct. 13) on his Weezythanxyou.com blog site, Weezy explains the rules for punitive segregation. "Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week," he says. "This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I fu#ked up and now I must deal with the consequences... Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous."
Wayne says what he misses the most is speaking to his family on a daily basis, but says his fanmail has been holding him down in the meantime. "I do miss being able to hear from my family everyday but once a week will have to suffice. To them, I apologize," he said. "I'm still able to receive mail so reading and responding is still a huge part of my day. I'd like to thank everyone that sent me B-Day cards and wishes… that was terrific. You all are wonderful, simply wonderful."
He encouraged his fans to pick up his latest "I Am Not A Human Being" digital album, revealing physical copies, with additional bonus songs, will be available after his release and that he will be re-releasing it jointly with "the new Nino Brown DVD."
Lil Wayne ended the letterby saying, "Talent is best nurtured in solitude... Be home soon!... Dreaming of being in Greece."
Lil Wayne is due to be released on Nov. 4.
