The rapper enjoys a drink and a cigar as he tweets messages to fans after being released from Rikers Island jail in New York.
DJ Scoob Doo, who is part of Wayne's entourage, tweeted a photo of Wayne in his hotel room.
And the famous rapper did not take long to address fans, writing: 'aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm baaaaakkkkkkkkkk'.
The 28-year old, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was sentenced to a year in prison in March after a .40-cal Springfield Armory semi-automatic handgun was found on his tour bus in New York. He was eligible to be released early with good behaviour.
His fans include former President Bill Clinton, who told a Pittsburgh radio station this week he admired the rapper for being 'smart' and having 'ability', and President Barack Obama, who told Rolling Stone magazine in September he was 'hipping' to more new stuff on his iPod, including Lil Wayne.
His managers have said he planned to head for his home in Miami, where they're planning a welcome home party on Sunday.
