Lil Wayne suffered a seizure yet again.
The 30-year-old epileptic rapper has endured a series of uncontrollable convulsions within the past few months.
On March 12 he was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for an episode where he stayed in the Intensive Care Unit for six days.
TMZ reports Wayne once again sought treatment for the condition at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles Tuesday night.
Apparently it was a single seizure and following medical care the star was released early Wednesday morning.
The hip-hop star previously opened up about his lifelong battle with epilepsy.
He was diagnosed with the disease in his childhood.
"[I'm] prone to seizures," he told Power 106's DJ Felli Fel recently. "This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh... I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them.
"But this time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 per cent. Basically, I could've died."
Wayne explained his whole team is aware of his problem and he is surrounded by people who know what to do should he become unwell.
