Lil Wayne can't wait to get the crowd to go "crazy" on his tour with Drake.
The two rappers are heading out on the road with their Drake vs Lil Wayne show. Fans can expect to hear the biggest songs from both artists before a collaboration at the end of the gig.
"Since, thank god we've been so successful, [we'll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hit the stage together," he told MTV News. "It's a battle type thing."
The 31-year-old revealed it was his manager Cortez Bryant who came up with the idea for the tour, and he definitely plans to have some fun with it. As for who will win the face off, Wayne seemed to give it to his opponent.
"I give the good guy the edge," he joked.
Canadian rapper Drake will be glad to get back to touring when the shows kick off on August 8 after the disappointment of having to pull out of headlining the British Wireless festival last weekend.
The 27-year-old had to withdraw from the two shows after falling ill.
"I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me," he said in a statement before the festival.
Kanye West covered for him and the Take Care singer was quick to show his appreciation to the Yeezus star.
"Man I appreciate Kanye playing Trophies at Wireless so much," he said. "I want to be at all the shows more than anything in the world right now. Slow motion for me right now but I promise all the fans an incredible experience as soon as I am back. I am so sorry once again I love you all dearly."
