Lil' Wayne has teamed up in the studio with Ashanti.
At present, it's not clear on what project the pair, who posted a picture of their collaboration on Twitter, are working on.
Lil' Wayne is currently putting the finishing touches to his much-anticipated new album 'Tha Carter IV', while Ashanti is also recording a new solo album.
The singer failed to divulge any details about the collaboartion on Twitter, despite being visibly excited.
“Jus had the funniest convo with @liltunechi [Lil' Wayne] he's hilarious!!!” she told her followers.
Lil' Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' is due to be released in August.
