Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper are reportedly trying to juggle their lives.
The couple have been married since 2011, and have daughters Ethel and Marnie together. Speculation has been rife for a while that all is not well with the relationship, with Lily fuelling separation rumours by upping her partying ways. She also recently posted a photo to her Instagram account of the poetry book I will never be beautiful enough to make us beautiful together, with the caption "Hashtagsadface (sic)".
"Lily and Sam are very much still together," one source told British magazine Grazia, although another wasn't so sure.
"Lily wants to e based in full-time in LA, which is Sam's worst nightmare," a second insider revealed. "He needs to be in the UK for work and doesn't seem keen on the idea of the children being raised in America. They're trying to juggle everything, but the strain seems to be showing."
When Lily first became famous in 2006, she was known for her hard partying. After becoming a mother she largely retreated from the limelight, however she's now making a career comeback.
Despite releasing disappointing album Sheezus last year, Lily seemingly has her sights set on being a bestselling artist again. This has also involved her hitting the party scene again, which came with disastrous consequences at this summer's Glastonbury festival, where pictures emerged of her in a semi-conscious state.
Friends say for now, the 30-year-old and Sam are still together, and people are rooting for them to last.
"There's no doubt they love each other. But they're not working as a team. Lily has a lot of pride, which means she finds it difficult to admit when things aren't working. Perhaps her Instagram stunt was a cry for help, but everyone hopes she had Sam can resolve whatever difficulties they're having," the source said.
