Lily Allen, Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran and Jared Leto are among a host of musicians that have reacted to the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il on Twitter.
Lily Allen tweeted fans: "Buhbye Kim Jong il", while Duran Duran's Simon Le said: "And it's... Good-bloody-bye to tinpot dictator, Kim Jong Il. Best know for his supporting role in Team America; World Police (the movie)."
30 Seconds To Mars' Jared Leto also said: "End of an Era. Time for an Asian Spring" while Jon McClure – otherwise known as The Rev - from Reverend and the Makers, tweeted: "So Kim Jong il has died! Did u see the newsreader. She was proper gutted bless her x".
The North Korean leader died of a heart attack on Saturday (December 17). His funeral will be held in Pyongyang on December 28.
