Lily Allen is upset she never wins awards for her music.
The singer took to Twitter account after it was revealed she had not been nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2009.
In reference to footballer Paul Gasgoigne, shewrote: "im like gazza, the judges hate me, but the people, dem love me ..... (sic)"
Lily's second LP 'It's Not Me, It's You' flew to the top of the UK album charts when it was released back in February.
But it was missed off this year's nominations in favour of acts such as Kasabian, Florence and the Machine, Bat For Lashes, Glasvegas and La Roux.
In support of her friend, Lily wrote: "i hope La Roux wins. (sic)"
One of her Twitter 'followers' - music photographer Ben Yacobi - wrote a note in support of Allen after he saw her looking upset at the nomination results.
He wrote: "Spotted @lilyroseallen in the pub last night. The look in her eyes said she knew she'd get snubbed in favour of Glasvegas. Bewilderment. (sic)"
To which the songstress replied: "i was a bit sad. (sic)"
