Overview
The 26-year-old is due to marry fiancé Sam Cooper on June 11. She announced that she was giving up music last August and instead opened a vintage boutique called Lucy In Disguise.
However, she explained that her decision was never about escaping the spotlight - she was simply disillusioned with the music industry.
She told The Sunday Times Style magazine, 'That's why I made that decision. I still want to be famous I just don't want to sing.'
Talking about her decision to branch out into fashion, she explained, 'I knew I had to do something else, because I'm not wealthy enough not to work for the rest of my life. You don't get paid to be in magazines and I'm accustomed to living in a certain way. I like having my nice house and filling it with nice things.
'I'd like to be in that position for the rest of my life, so obviously I'm going to have to work.'
