LILY ALLEN flouted the smoking ban during a gig in Manchester last night.
The singer lit up a cigarette and smoked it as she returned to the stage half-way through her set at the MEN Arena, where she was co-headling with rapper Dizzee Rascal.
But despite indulging in her habit, she then told the crowd she was ill and apologised for her vocals being "a bit shit".
She said: "I've got a bout of bronchitis so sorry if my singing's a bit shit. Not that it's any good anyway…"
The gig, one of two co-headline shows with the 'Bonkers' man, was opened by rapper Professor Green.
Dizzee Rascal then played the first of the co-headlining slots, which saw him play tracks such as 'Road Rage'and 'Freaky Freaky' with a brass section.
He got the crod moving with 'Stand Up Tall' was mashed with a cover of Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
But his early single 'Fix Up Look Sharp' had to be restarted while security dealt with a scuffle in the crowd.
