Lily Allen will follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss and Madonna when her new fashion range launches this week.
Her dresses, jewellery and footwear will hit New Look stores on Wednesday. The 21-year-old is famous for her "chavvy chic" style which pairs long prom-style dresses with trainers.
Her "Lily Loves..." collection features dresses in sizes six to 18, patterned trainers and flowery jewellery. One dress is even embroidered with lyrics from the pop star's songs.
The launch at 312 stores on Wednesday follows the shopping frenzy sparked by the Kate Moss collection debut at rival fashion chain Topshop.
More than 1,000 shoppers queued outside Topshop's flagship Oxford Street store to get first pick of the supermodel's designs on April 30. But experts do not expect Lily Allen's collection to whip up the same interest.
Laura Weir, senior reporter at fashion industry bible Drapers magazine, said: "This is not a case of Lily versus Kate. The Moss collaboration is in a league of its own, the profile it has received is unprecedented and the collection itself is highly commercial.
"The Lily Loves range for New Look is a range of six edgy dresses and some accessories and footwear."
Lily Allen and invited guests will attend a carnival-themed party at New Look on Oxford Street ahead of the launch on Tuesday night.
Speaking ahead of the launch, she said: "I just feel comfortable in dresses. They cover up all the bits I don't like and they're easy, plus they're appropriate for almost every occasion."
Prices range from £5 for a flower ring to £55 for a "fox trot ruffle" dress.
