The programme, 'Riches to Rags', which she says was not her idea, was filmed over a year ago, a time where the star says she was a very different person.
The 25-year-old is said to admit that she 'used to vomit after meals' and speaks about the loss of her second baby, in the Channel Four show which will be shown on British TV next week.
Now, she has made a plea to fans to not watch the show because she may have been a little 'naive' about how she would be portrayed.
She tweeted: 'Just a couple of things, some of you may have read about a TV show called 'Riches to Rags' (title not my idea) airing on Tuesday next week.
'We started filming it a year ago and I feel like a completely different person than the one that features in the programme. I'm inclined to ask you not to watch it because quite frankly I am embarrassed.'
The Smile hitmaker then said people should watch it to see how certain things she has said have been taken out of context.
She wrote: 'On the other hand I want you all to watch it so you can see how the press coverage of it has been totally sensationalised and quotes taken out of context. I should probably know better than to write this here but I feel its the only place that my words don't get minced. That is all.'
Lily's discussion of the programme comes the day after she wrote that she was 'depressed' after she Googled herself.
