Bargain fever continues with singer Lily Allen opening the Harrods Winter Sale.
The 22-year-old star, who is pregnant with her first child, will join the department store's owner Mohamed Al Fayed for the event.
She is due to arrive in a horse-drawn carriage in time for all 11 doors of Harrods in Knightsbridge to open for business at 9am.
Shoppers are expected to queue outside the store from the early hours of Friday to bag themselves a bargain.
Harrods planned to entertain waiting customers with an opera singer and a string quartet in the final hour before its sale begins.
A spokesman said designer handbags, ladies' shoes, furniture, china and men's suits were expected to be popular items.
Discounts of between 20% and 75% will be unveiled at Harrods.
"There are some really good deals around the store. Designer handbags are always popular and ladies' shoes inevitably so," a spokesman said.
Lily Allen confirmed earlier this month that she is expecting a child with Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, 37.
She is preparing to release a new album next month and will later record her own BBC3 television show called Lily Allen And Friends. The singer is the latest in a long line of famous faces who have launched the Harrods Winter Sale.
