Lily Allen keeps the romance in her relationship alive with mini-breaks in Europe.
The 'Not Fair' singer – who has been dating builder Sam Cooper for several months – works hard to keep her love life strong while she is away on tour and flies her boyfriend over to see her every weekend.
She said: "I've been in a relationship for the last six or seven months, and you know, we make it work. If I'm on tour in Europe, Sam will fly out on a Friday night when he's finished work and stay with me for the weekend and then fly back on a Sunday. We talk to each other two or three times a day."
The 24-year-old singer recently revealed she is to take a two-year break from the music industry, and is looking forward to living a normal life again.
She explained: "I mean I'm not retiring. I'm doing this thing called life, where it changes all the time. It's not a plan. I mean, why do we work hard? To provide ourselves with a home. I've got that home now so I'd quite like to live in it for a while.
"I'm not a careerist. I do not think about things in the long-term, so I'm never censoring myself thinking I might offend someone and it might affect something that happens in the future. I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, and that's just my goal really."
Despite her successful music career, Lily claims she only releases records to give her life some sort of routine.
She said: "I do have a certain amount of drive, but that's more sort of about keeping a roof over my head and just having a routine."
