Lily Allen is being treated in hospital for septicaemia just days after miscarrying a baby for the second time.
The singer is said to be "responding well" to treatment for the bacterial infection of the blood after being taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Her publicist confirmed to Sky News that Allen had been readmitted for treatment and said that her "condition continues to improve".
"Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia," the representative stated.
"Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
