Lily Allen is quitting music because she has nothing else to write about.
The 'Fear' singer – who recently announced she was retiring from singing - says she plans to take an indefinite break from the pop world, but may return in the future.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I'm definitely taking a break. I've been on the road for nearly five years so I'm tired and I need a break. I've written about just about everything that's happened in my life so I feel like I need to go out and live a little bit more and then I'll see what I'm going to do."
Since announcing her retirement, the 24-year-old star - who won Best Track for her single 'The Fear' at the Q Awards in London yesterday (26.10.09) - has been rumoured to have landed a role in 'Reasons to be Pretty', a stage production in London's West End.
Although she wouldn't confirm the speculation, the star says she is open to anything during her hiatus.
She said: "I might be doing the play, it isn't confirmed yet. I'm just keeping all my options open."
