Lily Allen is making a comeback after taking a few years off to become a mother and a music executive.
Allen posted news of her return on Twitter, reverted back to her @lilyallen name instead of the married name she had been using these past few years @lilyrosecooper.
Since her last album 'Its Not Me, Its You' in 2009, Lily Allen married Sam Cooper, a builder and decorator in June, 2011. The couple have had two children, daughters Ethel (25 November, 2011) and Marnie (8 January, 2013).
Also in 2011 Lily founded her own record label 'In The Name Of' aka 'ITNO' distributed through Sony Music. She personally signed singer/songwriter Tom Odell to the label after seeing him at a showcase with 30 other people in the audience. Tom's debut album 'Long Way Down' reached number one this year in the UK.
Lily is the daughter of British actor and comedian Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen (Shaun of the Dead).
Her brother Alfie Allen plays Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. Her song 'Alfie' from the album 'Alright, Still' is about her brother.
Lily has released two albums 'Alright, Still' (2006) and 'Its Not Me, Its You' (2009).
