Lily Allen will stage a “cricket tea” at her wedding reception in June, it’s been reported.
The singer has apparently been inspired by being put on the rota to serve up tea for fiancée Sam Cooper’s local village cricket team. Both are big fans of the game.
"I've got to do five loaves of sandwiches and six cakes,” she told The Sun.
Allen and Cooper are set to tie the knot in their local village church before the reception takes place in their own garden. The local choir will also perform.
Cooper, 32, proposed to the singer Allen while on holiday in the Far East at Christmas. The pair have been dating since July 2009.
