Lily Allen says she is too famous to buy condoms.
The 'Fear' singer says fame prevents her from doing "regular daily stuff", like buying contraception, without causing a fuss.
She said: "People say you pay the price of fame. There are some things I just can't do anymore. Like when I've had sex, I can't go to the sexual health clinic. I can't go to a shop to get condoms - just regular daily stuff that's gotten difficult."
Meanwhile, Lily - who admits she has a penchant for older men and wants to have sex with Lucian Freud - has revealed she accidentally propositioned music mogul Simon Cowell, 49, via text message.
When her brief relationship with art dealer Jay Jopling, 45, ended, the currently single singer contacted 'The X-Factor' judge by mistake.
She said: "Over Christmas, I was kind of seeing this guy and then it was over. So I texted my godmother and told her. As a joke I said, 'Maybe my next conquest should be Simon Cowell.' But you know that thing where when someone is in your mind you accidentally text them? So I texted him that. He replied, 'Sorry?' "
