Lily Allen was among the attendees at last night’s ‘Tamara Drewe’ premiere in London

The pregnant singer – whose mother Alison Owen worked as a producer on the Stephen Frears-directed movie – put her bump proudly on display in a tight-fitting black dress and high heels.

Asked about the use of her music in the film, Lily joked it was only her mother's involvement that led to it being used.

Speaking on the special green carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square, Lily – who was accompanied by boyfriend Sam Cooper - told BANG Showbiz: "I mean, my mum produced it. I think it was a bit of nepotism going on."

The film's stars Gemma Arterton, Dominic Cooper and Tamsin Grieg also attended, with the actor confessing that while he loved filming the movie – based on the popular graphic novel about a London girl forced to go back to the Dorset countryside by Posy Simmons – he couldn't wait to get back to the British capital.

He said: "It was lovely, the British countryside is beautiful. But I'm a city boy, I love cities. And particularly this city."

Other celebrities to attend included Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch and Lois Winstone.

'Tamara Drewe' is released in the UK on September 10.
